Nissan has taken the initiative to build the first pantograph style reach truck within the business. This was due to the increased requirement for high performing narrow aisle reach trucks. Introducing the new SRX Platinum Series of reach trucks has become part of the North American market. The launch in Australia is scheduled to follow very soon.
The SRX Platinum Series is available in 3 capacities. These load capacities range from 1360 kg to 2000. The system was made due to intensive operator contribution on the design. These factors played a big part to guarantee its acceptance into the hugely competitive reach truck market within the United States. The following outstanding safety and operator comfort features have resulted for the Nissan trucks.
The entry and exit to the machine has been simplified due to a low step height. The model's side stance design makes driving both reverse and forward more comfortable for the operator. The unit is complete with a gently sloped floorboard which is in place to sit over 4 vibration isolators. This particular design provides a relaxed driving position for the operator in a standing shift. Moreover, the SRX Platinum Series offers a cushioned floor mat to provide a ride that is more enjoyable and smoother.
The caster design of the dual spring suspension system adds to the equipment's smoothness of operation. This suspension on rough and uneven driving surfaces, the suspension has been built to offer much better stability during operation. The thick padding located under the operator's arm further enhances the total comfort factor. There is a height adjustable knee pad and cushioned backrest in place also. The rear overhead guard post and the high operator backrest on the SRX Series offer additional operator protection. This is particularly essential when working around racking and within tight locations.
Nissan's forklifts have been made with the ergonomically and intuitive designed interior with a multi-function handle, which helps to achieve accurate control while lessening operator comfort. Several of the Operational commands consist of drive, lift and lower, reach, horn and the side-shift or other auxiliary function can be executed and performed utilizing this single handle.
