Aisle Types
Wide Aisle and Narrow Aisle lift trucks are classed due to the types of aisles they have been designed to operate in. These machinery could turn in an aisle, whilst Very Narrow Aisle trucks really don't turn in the aisle. There are some aisle widths to consider with various models.
VNA or Very Narrow Aisle trucks operate in less than 6 feet places and usually utilize particular guidance systems such as wire, optical or rail systems in order to travel in the aisles. Several different models of VNA trucks consist of Order Selectors, Turret Trucks and Swing Masts. These are popular kinds in tight retail spaces and in some storage and warehouse situations.
NA or Narrow Aisle trucks can operate within aisles that are 8 feet to 10 feet. Generally these are stand-up models such as Reach Trucks. They are commonly utilized in storage facilities and warehouses.
The wide aisle forklift is designed to work in aisles more than 8 feet to 10 feet.
Stand-Up Ergonomics
The stand-up ergonomics include "Ergomat" padding with a sloped floorboard that is made to lessen operator exhaustion by absorbing vibration. The compartment for the operator is very spacious and has an 8" low step height that helps lessen overall body exhaustion by easing frequent entry and exit. The model includes polyurethane steer tires to absorb shocks and vibration caused by uneven floor in order to allow smooth traveling. For added comfort, there is a floor mat and a cushioned armrest along with a backrest designed to help keep operators comfortable and thus more productive while limiting fatigue.
