Combilift is a company which was first founded by engineers Martin McVicar and Robert Moffett. They had over 40 years of experience between them when they initially established the business in 1998 within Monaghan, Ireland. In only over a decade, Combilift became a leader within the global long-load handling market, delivering machinery to over 50 markets worldwide. Supported by a trusted international network of distributors that have helped expand distribution into numerous markets around the globe and using their extensive knowledge and experience, Moffett and McVicar have built machinery that are in high demand and had sold 10,000 models by mid 2009.
Beneath is a summary of some of the Combilift models.
C-Series Combilifts are available in an array of mast options. Lift heights up to nine meters and lift capacities up to 25,000 kilograms are available. Engines are available in gas or LPG, diesel, and battery or electric and the C-Series Combilifts can operate within guided aisles as narrow as 210 centimetres wide.
The Combilift Straddle Carriers could move fully loaded containers that could weigh as much as 35 tons. These loads could be transported all over a facility or work site and the Combilift Straddle Carrier can lift fully loaded containers where required, whether it be from the ground to the trailer, from trailer to trailer or from the trailer to the ground. These machinery are an effective, cost effective solution for a lot of haulage, shipping, and distribution businesses, even those with low throughput levels.
The SL-Series side-loaders are machinery capable of driving in four directions thanks to its multi-directional steering. This hydrostatic, all-wheel drive forklift can help companies in many ways, one of which is to enable facilities to have aisles that are narrower. It also allows the capability to bulk or block stack by driving forward. This highly manoeuvrable kind of truck is usually found to be a better alternative as opposed to many traditional sit-down sideloaders because of the various extra capabilities and features.
