Specifications of Clark Forklifts
Types
Clark makes a range of forklift trucks including narrow aisles, pneumatic trucks and cushion trucks. The different kinds vary in terms of the way they run. Like for instance, heavy-duty forklifts used for agriculture and construction operate on an internal combustible engine. Narrow aisle types designed for use in warehouses and different other confined spaces are powered by rechargeable battery.
Lifting Capacity
Based on the type of Clark forklift trucks, the lifting capacity can differ. Battery-powered forklifts have a range from 1100-3000 kilograms, that depends on the type. For a greater capacity range, the internal combustion models are suggested. They can carry from 1400-8000 kilograms.
Engine
Clark electrically-powered forklift trucks run on AC battery cells, either 48 volt or 36 volt. The internal combustible engine models have 52 to 100 horsepower engines. The IC or Internal Combustion types have automatic transmission with three-speed, two-speed and single-speed types.
Frame/Cab
The frame/cab assembly is in the center of the forklift and includes overhead protective cover for the operator, the seat and controls. The frame includes the engine, fuel tank, trans-axle, wheels and transmission.
